Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the ChahPasand apps and web app. By creating an account or placing an order you accept them. Please read them carefully. Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle your data and forms part of these Terms.
1. About the service
ChahPasand is a platform that connects customers with local chai stalls and delivery partners. You can browse a stall's menu, place an order, and track it until delivery. ChahPasand provides the software and coordination; the food is prepared and sold by the individual chai stall.
2. Eligibility & accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to use ChahPasand.
- You agree to provide accurate information (name, mobile number, delivery address and landmark).
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us immediately about any unauthorised use.
3. Orders, prices & payment
- Prices shown are set by the stall and may change; the price at the time you place the order applies.
- Payment is made to the stall — typically cash / pay-at-stall or on delivery. Any payment method offered is described at checkout.
- Delivery charges, where applicable, are shown before you confirm the order.
- Placing an order is a request; the stall confirms and prepares it.
4. Cancellation, rejection & refunds
- A stall may accept, reject or cancel an order (for example if an item is out of stock) and will give a reason, which you will see and be notified about.
- Once an order has been delivered, it is final and cannot be reopened or cancelled through the app.
- Refunds or credits for cancelled or faulty orders are handled directly with the stall, subject to applicable law.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service — including placing fraudulent orders, interfering with the platform, attempting to access other users' data, using it for any unlawful purpose, or scraping/copying its content.
6. Your content & our IP
The ChahPasand name, design, software and branding belong to us. You keep rights to information you provide, and grant us the limited licence needed to operate the service (for example, showing your order details to the assigned stall and delivery partner).
7. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that menu items will always be in stock. Food quality, preparation, hygiene and the delivery act are the responsibility of the respective stall and delivery partner.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChahPasand is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount of the relevant order. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited (including for fraud or personal injury caused by negligence).
9. Suspension & termination
You may close your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy for data deletion). We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or misuse the service.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept them. The "Last updated" date above will change.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at the operator's principal place of business have exclusive jurisdiction.
