Cookie & Storage Policy

Last updated: 26 October 2026

This policy explains what small pieces of data the ChahPasand web app stores in your browser, why it does so, and how you can control them. It works alongside our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

1. We use no advertising or tracking cookies

ChahPasand does not set advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or profiling cookies. We do not sell your browsing data or share it with ad networks. The storage we use is purely essential — it makes sign-in and ordering work.

2. What we store in your browser

WhereWhatPurposeDuration
Local storage Supabase auth session (access & refresh tokens) Keeps you signed in so you don't have to log in on every visit, and lets the app know which account is placing the order. Until you log out or the session expires
Local storage App preference keys (e.g. cached device push token reference) Remember local settings so the app behaves consistently between visits. Until you clear site data

These are first-party, essential items stored on your own device. They are not used to identify you across other websites.

3. Cookies vs. local storage

Traditional cookies are set by a server and sent with every request. ChahPasand relies mainly on browser local storage for its sign-in session rather than third-party cookies. Both live in your browser and both are covered by this policy.

4. Managing & clearing this data

5. No consent banner required

Since we only use essential storage and set no non-essential or third-party cookies, under most regimes (including the rules that require opt-in for marketing/tracking cookies) no separate consent prompt is needed for ChahPasand.

6. Changes

If we ever introduce new cookies or storage — for example an analytics tool — we will update this page and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before switching them on. The "Last updated" date above will change.
